SAN MATEO, Calif. - Elibrium LLC, the leading publisher of productivity
software, announced today that it has signed an agreement with Boomerang
Software to be its Value Added Publishing Partner. Boomerang Software
is the first company to take advantage of Elibrium's recently announced
publishing model, which offers the industry's most efficient and
cost effective solution for selling products on retail shelves.
Boomerang's products will soon appear in the thousands of U.S. outlets
that Elibrium maintains successful retail partnerships with, including,
Office Max, Fry's and MicroCenter.
Under the terms of the agreement, Elbrium will publish Boomerang's
web authoring products and a new line of utility products under
Boomerang's premier brand, eXtendia. Boomerang has sold products
at retail since 1994, and worked with publishers since 2000. However,
its new line of utility products demands a channel distribution
network with a proven track record of success.
"Boomerang chose Elibrium to publish our successful line of
Web publishing tools and new line of utility products due to Elibrium's
strong retailer relationships, packaging expertise, wide-channel
distribution, as well as their historical success as a publisher
of their MySoftware products and other private label products,"
said Richard Bezjian, president and CEO of Boomerang Software.
"We are pleased that Boomerang is taking advantage of two
of Elibrium's core competencies-- expanding distribution and launching
new products," said Christina Seelye, president and CEO of
Elibrium, "Elibrium will focus on growth of the Web authoring
tools and will execute a high visibility launch of the new line
of eXtendia utilities to realize increased revenue for their well-designed
products."
Elibrium has been developing, marketing and selling products successfully
at retail for more than 16 years; and private labeling software
for over 10 years. Combining experienced product management, in-house
packaging design, effective supply chain management systems, proven
direct retailer relationships--and backed by a management team offering
more than 80 years of collective experience in retail software--Elibrium's
publishing solutions provide developers with a low risk method of
quickly and effectively expanding revenue.
